agent purpose is a desktop app and this website. This policy covers both. What you record in the app never leaves your computer. The only personal information that reaches us is your email address, and only if you choose to subscribe on this website.

The app

1. What the app collects

The app doesn’t collect any information. agent purpose writes your log as plain markdown files on your own computer. It makes no network calls, so nothing is sent to us and we cannot see what you record. There is no account and no sync. You can read, move, back up or delete those files yourself, with or without the app. If you delete them, we cannot recover them for you.

2. Newsletter

If you subscribe, we collect your email address so we can tell you when the app is available. The form uses an automated check to block bots. Your email is stored on servers in France. We use double opt-in, so you will be asked to confirm by email before you are added. We use your email only to send you updates about agent purpose, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

3. Analytics

We use a privacy-focused analytics tool to understand how this site is used. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal information that identifies you. What we see is aggregated and anonymous. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.

4. Hosting and security

This site is served and protected by Cloudflare. To do this, Cloudflare processes technical information about your connection, such as your IP address, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell real visitors from bots. This is not used to track you or for advertising.

5. Cookies

This site does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The only cookies are the strictly necessary Cloudflare security cookies described above.
